5 essences to help you stay motivated during your job search
1. Think of job search as your current job.
Searching for a job requires commitment, self-discipline, work on different tasks, good time-management as well as balance between job-search activities and your private life. That is all very similar to any other job.
To make the job search effective, build a daily routine. Try to avoid doing job search 5 minutes here and 5 minutes there, interspersed with your private activities. Consider how many hours per day or week you are ready to invest in it. Concentrate on work – at the time of work. If you need to take a break, treat it like a break at a workplace.
Outside your “working hours”, fully enjoy your leisure time without feeling guilty for doing something other than job search.
